(Steward) The House should discuss forming a rules committee to codify and update rules we have been following as a House that have not been explicitly written down.

Beryl: I’ve been running into rules that aren’t written down.

Point of Information: We don’t seem to have that deposits are a full month’s rent codified *anywhere.*

Clarifying Question: Didn’t we already start to organize like this? We coordinated with Paul, Beryl, Russ and we just never decided on a meeting time.

Leah, board: I’ve also been trying to start a rules committee or working group at the board level. I might meet one on Wednesday. We don’t need to have a clear distinction between CHEA-level and house-level rules discussions because we’re just brainstorming. Everyone interested is invited.

Beryl: Rules about members living in or occupying the commons.

Leah: Aligning the house election rules would be great too. We could also align late fees between houses and in the contract.

New business

MemCo: We need to get all the lease addendums signed. Get with me and sign your addendums.

Someone didn’t hear about the rent increase because they aren’t on the mailing list.

Stormie: There was a snafu in printing. We don’t need to post to doors until the 31st. I will.

POI: I think a former member might still have access to the mailing list because of some information they posted to me.

POI: That info was posted to the public part of our website.
