(Corey) Waive conducting a special election to fill the position of Steward. Permit the current steward (Stormie) that was appointed during the recent officer review to serve out the remaining term (until June 30th). Reason being that once the special election for Steward would be completed we would have to start normal elections for the position again the following week anyways.

Cayla: this makes sense, having two elections that close just adds extra work

(House) Monthly Officer meeting - End of term edition.

Bernard: we are getting more people on labor. People have been moved around to adjust. Friday/Wednesday/Thursday now have cooks/DCU. Some people got moved over to grounds or maintenance. Will get labor report out to everyone soon.

Russ: only two people are behind on rent, that’s pretty good. Little to report.

Leah: we are at capacity. Everyone needs to sign rent addendum for new change. Will be coming around to get signatures for new rent. Also will get some lease extensions.

Alyssa: Food buyer stuff is alright. Not much to report. Please be specific about type/amount of food requested.

Stormie: grounds coordinator signup sheet has been up for a week, but I will wait to get ballots for that until regular officer elections. We will soon have a signup sheet up for all officer positions.

Kate: Is currently working on vacancy reserve/maintenance reimbursement. Is stepping down and working on getting as much documentation as possible for the next person. Hopefully we will switch to UFCU soon. Chase sucks. Hopefully the new treasurer will be able to be a signor on UFCU account and chase accounts will be closed.

Cayla: someone threatened to sue us, but they haven’t done so yet. Talked to a lawyer, and they advised us to not respond, and that all seems fine on our end. Thinking about how to do a better GMM next year. This year's GMM got people thinking about the Operations Manager position so that is being discussed. Please sign up for an officer position even if there is a current officer running. This can help prevent burnout of officers.

Paul: I threw a party over a month ago. I plan on doing some stuff this June. Maybe a camping trip or bike ride. Will run again but will be happy to step aside if someone else wins.

Bernard: if you are putting down a no-show for something please put down the name and date so I know who is getting no-showed

Stormie: can we get a printout of people’s jobs posted in the commons?

Bernard: yes I can put an updated description up soon

Kate: rent is going up to 508$ starting July 1st. Will put notices on doors.

Russ: you don’t have to know how to do a job to sign up. Some jobs seem technical and difficult but they can be broken down to make it manageable.
